V (3, 2) 1 Shannon’s Lealla Is Fearr. Nice type, lovely head and expression with good small ears,
harsh coat, a bit narrow in front, moved well for her age.
MPD(1) 1 Milne’s Gentihun Double Oh Seven. 7 month old very collected on the move, nice head
with good dark eye, ears are a bit heavy, has plenty of substance and bone, good bend of stifle
but could do with a bit more angulation in front, good feet.
JD (3, 2) 1 Barret’s Stranwith Symphony
GD(5, 2) 1 Barret’s Stranwith Ebenezer. Overall very good hard condition, masculine head with no
coarseness, good reach of neck, well balanced, moved very well. RCC. 2 Taylor’s Kilbourne James
Dene. 3 Spencer &Rhodes’ Gentom Renown.
PGD(5) A good class. 1 Shannon’s Erewhon Dambuster. Scored in finer head and good front, nice
type, moved well and held his topline, good length of neck, a thing which is lacking in far too many
hounds at present. 2 Adams’ Csarf O’cockaigne (Imp). Slightly heavier than one and tended to
flatten his topline on the move, otherwise very little to choose between one and two. 3 Francis&Blatchford’s Cloweswood Acer Of Peopleton.
LD(6) 1 Girling’s Pyefleet Rollo. Easily the best so far. Good masculine head with no hint of
coarseness, a darker eye would be a bonus, colour ok, the best topline, hard condition, excellent
feet and good movement. CC and BOB. 2 Trotman &Dockree’s Regalflight Princequillo Of
Penherald. Heavier than one and not quite as good in front, ears not good apart from that has
good rear angulation and moved soundly. 3 Edwards’ Brackenland Ran.
OD(4, 2) 1 Rhodes, Horton &Spencer’s Ch Gentom Peacemaker. A well made hound, good
conformation, nice front and hind angulation, depth and spring of rib, head a bit wider than I like,
has good reach of neck, not on top form today. 2 Day’s Demerlay Dorian Grey At Celticmoon. Nice
type, good conformation, though is a bit flat in topline, preferred his head to firsts, moved
soundly.
MPB(3) 1 Milne’s Gentiehun Double Trouble. Very pretty bitch, scored in length over loin, has good
angulation front and rear, moved well for age. 2 Rose’s Gentiehun Double Agent. Close decision
between one and two, the same remarks apply, just lacked firsts length of loin. 3 Rose’s
Gentiehun Double Jeopardy.
PB(1) 1 Platt’s Charbonnel Feather. The best ears of the day, small and fine and sadly very rare.
Good bend of stifle, front angulation, adequate well balanced pup, excellent coat, moved well, well
muscled.
JB(4, 2) 1 Taylor &Peach’s Brackenland Tan. Pleasant head and expression, ears a bit bigger than
I like, reasonably good topline, a bit more angulation all round would improve her outline but
overall a nice youngster. 2 Trotman’s Stainlonan Kulang Of Penherald. Not quite the quality of one,
flatter topline and a bit wide in front, she is young, with time could improve overall.
GB(7, 2) 1 Taylor’s Guinivere Starshine From Kilbourne. Attractive dark bitch with a nice head
(apart from her ears), good topline, well balanced, sound mover. I liked the length over the loin,
an attribute which is sadly lacking in a lot of hounds. 2 Finnigan’s Kwarricot Andromeda. Smaller
and shorter in the back than one, very feminine with a very nice head, good feet. 3 McKinnon’s
Moireach Treshnish.
PGB(10, 3) 1 Mansall &Duddell’s Canerikie Coco Chanel. Very feminine, lovely head, no stop, good
length of muzzle, dark eye and fine ears, good length over loin, depth of brisket, moved soundly.
CC. 2 Francis &Hird’s Cloweswood Scilla. Similar to one in make and shape, most comments apply
to both. First scored in being slightly wider on the move. Res CC. 3 Westall-Ives Stranwith May
TAF.
LB(4, 1) 1 Janson’s Nixophel Crystal Amethyst JW ShCM. Three very similar bitches. Just scored in
length of loin, feminine head of good shape, ears on the big side, good feet, bone and angulation,
moved well, good conformation. 2 Girling’s Pyefleet Rokesby. Had the best of ears, small and fine,
eyes dark with good expression, in very hard, fit condition, very close decision between all three,
could change places any time. 3 Reynolds’ Wickwar White Lace.
OB(5, 2) 1 Shannon’s Lealla Joka. Lovely type, well balanced with good angulation and overall
conformation, moved well, good feet, a lot to like, just beaten by youth for the CC. 2 Robertson’s
Glen Hara Toragh Of Lowtherhills (Imp) ShCM. Another very good type, again in the same mould
as one, hard choice, but first just appealed a fraction more. 3 Janson’s Greyflax Lady Of The Lake
To Nixophel.
